Things To Do Near You

Hello everybody! As many of you are probably aware, I have been dealing with the worst creative block when it comes to writing blog posts, and I have experienced so many false starts with my writing, that it has been getting to me a lot. So, I decided to do something very unique: Write about it!  I don’t know why, but I feel like if I share it with all of you, maybe it will help me feel better about myself, and maybe I will get to a better place with my writing.  Here’s something important that you should all know. I like to plan out what I am going to write about before I actually start writing, because I feel that if I know what I am going to write about, the rest will come naturally. Unfortunately, this has not proven to be entirely correct recently, as even though I have planned out what I am going to write about for some recent blog posts, I have either not been satisfied with what I am writing, or I realize that it won’t make a good blog post.  Here are some example...

Hello everyone! It’s been a while since I have written about concert venues, so let’s do that today!  Today, I am going to be going over the upcoming shows at The Saratoga Performing Arts Center! For those of you who don’t know, it’s another outdoor summer concert venue. I will not be going over all of their upcoming shows, because a lot of them are classical music, and I am positive that none of you reading care about that. Because I certainly don’t. The first show they have on June 18 is one of the biggest stars in the world right now: Jelly Roll, who will be joined by some rising star named Kashus Culpepper, who is such a rising star that he doesn’t even have a Wikipedia page. The next show they have on June 19 is another big country music celebration: Riley Green with Clint Black, Drake White, and Hannah McFarland. Hello everyone! In my recent blog post about events in Stamford this summer, I mentioned that there was still one more that I needed to talk about, so now I am going to talk about it! Before I get into it, I’m going to talk about another summer event that used to happen in Stamford Downtown called Alive At Five.  As its name suggests, Alive At Five was an outdoor summer concert series on Thursdays that would start at 5:00, except that is not actually when the headliner would start performing, as they would go on stage MUCH later, which I am saying from experience. The series went for so many years, and got so many artists that fall under the categories of artists you have never heard of, and artists you used to hear from, but not anymore. In other words, the type of people who either have been on or are going to be on The Masked Singer.
