Nassau County Restaurants

Hello everybody!

I had so much fun writing about restaurants in my previous blog post, that I have decided that I am going to do it again today! Today, I will be writing about restaurants in Nassau County in Long Island. For those of you who are wondering why I chose such an oddly specific place, it’s because I have a lot of cousins who either live in or have lived in Nassau County, so this is kind of my tribute to them. I will go over some of the interesting foods on their menus, in hopes that if any of you reading should find yourselves in Nassau County, you will want to visit them.

The first restaurant is The Shed Restaurant in Westbury. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Buttermilk Biscuits, Skillet Macaroni & Cheese, Fried Pickles, Fried Calamari, Reuben Sandwich, Spicy Fried Chicken Sandwich, Roast Beef Melt, Lobster Roll, Chicken & Waffles, Shrimp & Chips, Sirloin Steak, Ice Cream, Waffle Ice Cream Sundae, Banana Bread Pudding, Cookies, and Flourless Chocolate Cake.

The next restaurant is Salt on The Water in Merrick. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Fried Calamari, Coconut Shrimp, Zucchini and Eggplant Chips, Fried Mozzarella, Short Rib Sliders, Lobster Macaroni & Cheese, Margherita Flatbread, Baked Clams Oreganata, Cheeseburger, Lobster Roll, Fish Tacos, Chicken & Waffles, New England Clam Chowder, Filet Mignon, New York Strip, Surf & Turf, Shrimp Cavatelli, Seafood Risotto, Frutti Di Mare, Lobster Ravioli, Day Boat Scallops, Twin Lobster Tails, Hot Fudge Sundae, Rainbow Cookie Cake, Chocolate Molten Lava Cake, Cheesecake, Salt Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake, and Ice Cream.

The next restaurant is Copperhill in Willston Park. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Hummus and Flatbread, Poutine, Short Rib Taquitos, Pesto, Tomato, and Burrata Pizza, Sea Scallops, Lobster Roll, Duck Breast, Pork Milanese, Lamb Chops, Hanger Steak, Roasted Cauliflower, Ricotta Cavatelli, and Eggplant Gratin. 

The next restaurant is Waterzooi Belgian Bistro & Oyster Bar in Garden City. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Baked French Onion Soup, Lobster Croquettes, Toasted Sweet Potato Gnocchi, Fondue, Lobster Bisque, Truffle Lobster Macaroni & Cheese, Fried Calamari, Lobster Frites, Wellington Burger, Jumbo Shrimp, Steak Frites, Scallops, Steak Sandwich, Braised Short Ribs, Waffles & Whipped Cream, Cheesecake, Triple Chocolate Cake, and Whipped Chocolate Mousse.

The next restaurant is Pappa Gallo in Rockville Centre. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Braised Short Rib Empanadas, Grilled Chicken Skewers, Pork Belly Skewers, French Fries and Fried Sausage Chunks, Chicken Cutlets, Fried Wontons Stuffed with Queso Fresco, Hanger Steak, Peruvian Lo Mein, Seafood Paella, Surf & Turf, Passion Fruit Mousse, Churros, Chocolate Dulce de Leche Cake, Passion Fruit Mousse Cheesecake, and Churro Dulce de Leche Cake.

The next restaurant is Limani in Roslyn. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Fried Calamari, Scallops, Crab Cakes, Shrimp, Zucchini and Eggplant Chips, Grilled Abalone Mushrooms, Spanakopita, Greek Chicken Soup, Langoustines, Charcoal Grilled Lobster, Filet Mignon, Lamb Chops, Strip Steak, Ribeye Steak, Pavlova, Profiteroles, and Chocolate Soufflé.

The next restaurant is Mojo RVC in Rockville Centre. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Guacamole & Chips, Three Cheese Chorizo Macaroni & Cheese, Corn Ribs, Chicken Quesadillas, Chipotle Fried Chicken Sliders, Chicken Tacos, Chicken Empanadas, Steak Empanadas, Fried Calamari, Grilled Filet Mignon, Chicken Latino Fried Rice, Skirt Steak, Tres Leches Cake, Churros, Coconut Flan, Maracuya Cheesecake, and Chocolate Flan.

The next restaurant is The Union in East Meadow. The next restaurant is Gatsby’s Landing in Roslyn. The next restaurant is Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas in Garden City. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Fried Calamari, Meatballs, Eggplant Meatballs, Truffle Fries, Arancini, Margherita Pizza, Rigatoni Bolognese, Wild Mushroom Risotto, Sausage and Broccoli Rabe Orecchiette, Short Ribs, Lamb Chops, Strip Steak, Chicken Parmesan.


The last restaurant is Tap Room in Garden City. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Macaroni & Cheese Bites, Birria Egg Rolls, Quesadillas, Fried Wontons, Disco Fries, Mozzarella Sticks, Bavarian Pretzels, Macaroni & Cheese Burgers, Chipotle Shrimp Tacos, Chicken Tenders, Steak Sandwich, Sliders, Cheesesteak, Steak Frites, Chicken Pot Pie, Vodka Bolognese Stuffed Rigatoni, Fried Donuts, Peanut Butter Layer Cake, Raspberry Oreo Cheesecake, and Three Layer Brownie.
