Northern Westchester Restaurants



My previous blog post had to do with restaurants in Fairfield County, and today I am going to bring it a little closer to home, as I am going to write about restaurants in Northern Westchester! I will be discussing several restaurants in the surrounding area and some of the interesting foods on their menus in hopes that everyone reading will be interested in checking them out and going to support them. 

The first restaurant that I am going to talk about is The Kittle House Inn in Chappaqua. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include crab fries, crispy cauliflower, onion soup, lobster bisque, rigatoni, a burger, a roasted pork sandwich, eggplant parmesan, hanger steak, filet mignon, French fries, truffle parmesan fries, macaroni and cheese, Meyer lemon tart, chocolate crunch bar, olive oil cake, and affogato.

The next restaurant is Moderne Barn in Armonk. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include carrot ginger soup, warm house made pretzel bites, fried calamari, fried popcorn rock shrimp, meatballs, steamed pork dumplings, mushroom dumplings, roasted spiced cauliflower, Margherita pizza, rigatoni bolognese, seafood risotto, lamb chops, pan roasted duck breast, scallops, chicken scarpariello, hanger steak, New York strip loin steak, ribeye steak, cheesecake, baklava, cast iron chocolate brownie, dulce de leche bread pudding, sundae, chocolate s’mores creme brulee, Longford’s ice cream, and lemon almond biscotti.
The next restaurant is Stone Fire in Mount Kisco. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include garlic bread, polenta bites, shrimp bisque, spinach and artichoke dip, meatballs, crispy Szechuan cauliflower, fried calamari, truffle macaroni and cheese, Margherita pizza, deconstructed lasagna, maccheroni alla vodka, radiatore pasta, gnocchi, chicken parmesan, strip steak, affogato, cookie skillet, sundae, chocolate cake, tartufo, Nutella pizza, cheesecake, and key lime pie.

The next restaurant is Village Social in Mount Kisco. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include Dubai spiced meat pocket, chickpea hummus, pastrami egg rolls, polenta bites, chicken dumplings, pork dumplings, Margherita pizza, wood fired oysters, crispy calamari, short rib grilled cheese, wild fish tacos, spicy chicken sandwich, steak sandwich, short rib quesadilla, crispy cod sandwich, and skirt steak.

The next restaurant is The Beehive in Armonk. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include French onion soup, crispy chicken tenders, spanakopita, crispy calamari, chicken parmesan, steak frites, fish and chips, penne alla vodka, French dip sandwich, fish tacos, crispy gooey grilled cheese, corned beef sandwich, cheesecake, Oreo cheesecake, double chocolate layer cake with chocolate fudge and Nutella, and banana creme pie.

The next restaurant is Spaccarelli’s in Millwood. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include mozzarella and prosciutto, baked clams, eggplant rollatini, fried zucchini, pasta e fagioli, tortellini in broth, gnocchi, penne alla vodka, chicken parmesan, veal sorrentina, veal parmesan, and veal saltimbocca.

The next restaurant is Le Jardin Du Roi in Chappaqua. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include French onion soup, garlic shrimp, cauliflower wings, grilled portobello, croque monsieur sandwich, croque madame sandwich, fried chicken sandwich, shrimp risotto, mussels and fries, bacon jalapeno macaroni and cheese, New York strip steak and fries, boneless fried chicken, shrimp tacos, fish tacos, bread pudding, creme brulee, brownie a la mode, vanilla ice cream, Nutella or sugar and lemon crepe a la mode, and affogato.

The next restaurant is The Getaway Car in Mount Kisco. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include French onion bombs, cornbread baked macaroni and cheese, tacos, artichoke spinach dumplings, buffalo chicken dumplings, chicken strips and fries, mozzarella sticks, pulled pork quesadilla, chipotle chicken wrap, filet mignon frites, chocolate mousse chimney, key lime pie, cinnamon churros, red velvet cake, tartufo, and Nutella flatbread.

The next restaurant is the Mount Kisco Diner. The next restaurant is The Bedford Diner in Bedford Hills. The next restaurant is Blue Dolphin in Katonah. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include minestrone soup, pea soup, fried calamari, grilled portobello and polenta, farfalle pasta, orecchiette pasta, cheese ravioli, veal ravioli, ziti pasta, rigatoni bolognese, meat lasagna, spinach manicotti, breaded veal, and grilled steak.

The next restaurant is Mardino’s in Mount Kisco. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include stuffed zucchini, stuffed mushrooms, jumbo stuffed clams, clams oreganata, fried calamari, eggplant parmesan, gnocchi, cheese ravioli, ziti pasta, manicotti, penne alla vodka, meat lasagna, tortellini bolognese, chicken parmesan, stuffed veal, veal saltimbocca, veal parmesan, porterhouse steak, New York sirloin steak, filet mignon, surf and turf, shrimp parmesan, twin lobster tails, and Alaskan king crab legs.

The next restaurant is The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include crispy calamari, spiced chicken samosas, spring pea soup, tomato, mozzarella, and basil pizza, rigatoni with meatballs, roasted cauliflower grenobloise, baked Maine lobster, grilled lamb chops, beef tenderloin, ribeye steak, crispy macaroni and cheese, ice cream, molten chocolate cake, salted caramel sundae, carrot cake, rhubarb puff pastry tart, strawberry pavlova, and a cookie plate.

The next restaurant is Farmhouse Tavern in Katonah. The next restaurant is Ristorante Lucia in Bedford. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include arancini, fried calamari, eggplant rollatini, meatballs, minestrone soup, plain cheese pizza, Margherita pizza, ravioli, gnocchi, lasagna, penne, orecchiette, rigatoni, risotto, chicken parmesan, eggplant parmesan, veal chop parmesan, veal saltimbocca, cheesecake, cannoli, crema bruciata, which is vanilla custard with a caramelized top, tiramisu, flourless chocolate cake, and biscotti.

The next restaurant is Amore Pizzeria & Italian Kitchen in Armonk. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include meatballs, garlic bread bruschetta, mozzarella sticks, chicken tenders, eggplant rollatini, crispy calamari, arancini, baked clams, tortellini brodo, minestrone soup, chicken brodo soup, baked ziti, baked ravioli, baked meat lasagna, eggplant parmesan, chicken parmesan, veal parmesan, Margherita pizza, pistachio ricotta cake, zeppoli with Nutella, tiramisu, Italian donuts with Nutella, lemon sorbetto in shell, cannoli, cheesecake, chocolate mousse cake, and warm apple caramel cake with gelato.

The next restaurant is Basso by PXK in Chappaqua. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include minestrone soup, crispy calamari, butternut squash spuma, prosciutto with burrata, ravioli, rigatoni, orecchiette, risotto, chicken parmesan, shrimp scampi, jumbo sea scallops, pork chop, New York sirloin, veal chop, affogato, creme brulee, warm chocolate cake, olive oil panna cotta, chocolate salami, and tiramisu.

The next restaurant is Purdy’s Farmer & the Fish in North Salem. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include clam chowder, hot crab dip, crispy calamari, spicy shrimp fried rice, polenta fries, rigatoni pasta, fried chicken, New York strip steak, lobster roll, and fish and chips. 
The next restaurant is Lenny’s North Seafood & Steakhouse in Armonk. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include lobster bisque, crab cakes, seared diver scallops, grilled jumbo shrimp, fried calamari, eggplant rollatini, baked clams, maccheroni al formaggio, meatballs, fresh mozzarella, several different cuts of steak, seafood risotto, live Maine lobster, twin lobster tails, veal chop parmesan, and homemade cheese ravioli.

The last restaurant is Exit 4 Food Hall in Mount Kisco.
