Greenwich CT Restaurants
I have written about the restaurants in many towns and cities in Connecticut, and today I am going to do it again! In this blog post, I will be talking about the restaurants in Downtown Greenwich as well as some of the interesting foods on their menus in hopes that it will encourage all of you reading to check them out!
The first restaurant is a Mexican restaurant called La Taqueria. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include tortilla soup, chips and salsa, chicken tinga flautas, half moon quesadillas, grilled hanger steak tacos, pulled pork tacos, crispy fish tacos, shrimp tacos, short rib nachos, chicken enchiladas, vanilla flan, and tres leches cake.
The next restaurant is an Italian restaurant called Bianca Restaurant & Bar. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include fritto misto, arancini, veal meatballs, eggplant parmesan, grilled prawns, prosciutto and mozzarella, Margherita pizza, gnocchi, ravioli, roasted chicken, NY strip loin, veal Milanese, and braised pork chop.
The next restaurant is called The Cottage. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include whipped carrot hummus, spicy shrimp fried rice, crab toast béarnaise, wagyu brisket bao, kabocha squash tempura, honeypatch squash caramelle, wild mushroom risotto, a burger, chicken pot pie, steak au poivre, caramelized brioche French toast, spiced carrot cake, and milk and cookies.
The next restaurant is an American restaurant called The Ginger Man. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include chorizo nachos, crispy calamari, pesto macaroni and cheese, short rib spring rolls, crispy cauliflower, smokey chicken quesadilla, Bavarian soft pretzel, grilled steak quesadilla, crispy fish tacos, burgers, crab cake sandwich, NY strip steak sandwich, Nashville hot chicken sandwich, fried chicken paillard sandwich, steak and cheese wrap, fish and chips, steak frites, filet mignon, and grilled skirt steak.
The next restaurant is an Italian restaurant called Terra Ristorante Italiano. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include tomato and basil soup, pork and veal meatballs, fried calamari, jumbo lump crab and artichoke dip, crispy cauliflower, pizza, penne rigate, burrata and spinach agnolotti, ricotta cavatelli, wild mushroom ravioli, zucchini spaghetti, scallops, chicken scarpariello, chicken Milanese, beef short rib osso buco, and veal chop.
The next restaurant is a seafood restaurant called Elm Street Oyster House. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include hickory flour fried calamari, pan fried oysters, buffalo shrimp, blackened shrimp and crab roasted corn quesadilla, mini crab cakes, crab meat and guacamole stack, buttermilk chicken Milanese, lobster roll, blackened fish tacos, sirloin cheeseburger, paella, frutti di mare, which is seafood pasta, shrimp and grits, fish and chips, lobster ravioli, and steak frites.
The next restaurant is a Chinese restaurant called Moli. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include rainbow soup dumplings, Szechuan chili wontons, peking duck spring rolls, chicken potstickers, lobster dumplings, truffle shrimp dumplings, salsa verde prawns, stir fried seafood, ginger scallion lobster, fried calamari, crispy eggplant, honey walnut shrimp, pork bao, coconut braised short ribs, wok tossed ribeye with chives, wok stir fry, black pepper prime filet mignon, Taiwanese lo mein, and vegetable fried rice.
The next restaurant is an Asian restaurant called Hinoki. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include duck pancake wraps, zucchini blossoms, rock shrimp tempura, duck bao buns, crispy calamari, cauliflower tempura, corn ribs, vegetable dumplings, sweet potato croquettes, ginger scallion lobster, grilled organic chicken, prime ribeye steak, grilled filet mignon, stir fried udon, shumai, dumplings, spring rolls, hibachi fried rice, hibachi noodles, and miso soup.
The next restaurant is a French restaurant called Bistro V. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include crab cakes, fried calamari, French onion soup, chicken paillard, steak frites, a burger, lobster roll, blackened fish tacos, short rib bourguignon, duck confit, apple tart, fresh fruit tart, lemon tart, mille-feuille, eclairs, chocolate ganache, opera cake, and chocolate mousse.
The next restaurant is a Mediterranean restaurant called Mediterraneo. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include roasted butternut squash soup, spicy eggplant dip, seasoned lamb with hummus, Margherita pizza, lobster and butternut squash ravioli, venison saddle, parmesan crusted halibut, chicken Milanese, filet mignon, beef bourguignon, wagyu beef burger, and NY strip steak.
The next restaurant is called Harvest Wine Bar & Restaurant. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include crispy calamari, crispy parmesan tater tots, sliders, house-made meatballs, eggplant parmesan, Maryland crab cakes, lobster and shrimp risotto, seared scallops, ricotta gnocchi bolognese, chicken Milanese, chicken scarpariello, rack of lamb, skirt steak, a burger, pork chop, eggplant rigatoni, pan seared duck breast, ribeye steak, hanger steak, and sirloin steak.
The next restaurant is a diner called Putnam Restaurant. The next restaurant is a Japanese restaurant called Abis. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include seafood pancakes, noodle soup, beef bulgogi, fried noodles, sweet potato fries, chicken, sirloin steak, filet mignon, ribeye steak, shrimp, lobster, scallops, ice cream, tempura ice cream, Japanese cheesecake, tiramisu, and cheesecake tempura.
The next restaurant is called South Bay. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include bone broth, lobster bisque, coconut shrimp, crispy calamari, beef sliders, meatballs, crab meat nacho bites, fish tacos, steak tacos, shrimp and lobster risotto, cioppino, seafood ramen bowl, seared scallops, sesame crusted tuna, pork chop scarpiello, chicken ramen bowl, beef burger, ribeye steak, New York strip steak, hanger steak, and lamb chops.
The next restaurant is an American restaurant called Eastend. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include a Mediterranean dip trio, crispy calamari, pork and veal meatballs, spicy lobster spaghetti, spinach and burrata ravioli, peking duck breast, New York strip steak, ribeye steak, skirt steak tacos, shrimp tacos, and buttermilk fried chicken sandwich.
The next restaurant is a diner called Glory Days. The last restaurant that I am going to talk about is an Italian restaurant called Tony’s at the J House. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include fritto misto, Italian dumplings, veal filled agnolotti, lobster bisque, fried prosciutto wrapped burrata, filet mignon truffle croquettes, meatballs, penne vodka, four cheese ravioli, cavatelli, risotto, pesto ricotta gnocchi, kobe beef burger, chicken scarpariello, roasted rack of lamb, veal rollatini, veal parmesan, scallops, various cuts of steak, chocolate lava cake, chocolate layer cake, baked apple strudel, bomba, tiramisu, Nutella stuffed French toast, Napoleon, carrot cake, cannoli, creme brulee, and cheesecake.
Overall, there are many amazing restaurants in this town, so go ahead and go check them out!
