Tarrytown Music Hall Ghost Tours

For those of you who are looking for something to do around Halloween, look no further than the Tarrytown Music Hall!

Throughout the month of October, the venue will be holding Ghost Tours of the Music Hall. These tours will take place in both daytime and nighttime and will last 45 minutes. It will also be hosted by Jonathan Kruk, who is described as a “master storyteller,” and has also done solo shows and appeared on shows like the Today Show.

The reason for why these ghost tours happen at the Tarrytown Music Hall has to do with the history of the building itself. It was built back in 1885 during the “Millionaire’s Colony” era and is described as a reflection of the human spirit that mirrors the current events of the town and the rest of the world. The venue is also said to be a vessel through which many people pass, and some never leave.

These people that have never left have helped make the venue an official site of the Haunted History Trail of New York. It has also been investigated by the Gotham Paranormal Research Society several times due to supernatural activity. During these investigations, paranormal activity has been detected almost every time using EVP audio files and EMF readings.

These investigations were done due to strange activity happening at the venue, such as lights turning back on after closing, the sound of an unknown singer performing vocal scales in the wings after hours, and high-profile artists refusing to stay in one dressing room because they “sensed a presence.”

If you want to do something scary this October, head over to this historic venue and learn about the spirits that have lived there!
