Hudson Valley Restaurant Week

A while back, I wrote about the Stamford Downtown Winter Restaurant Weeks, and today I am going to do something similar. Today, I am going to write about the upcoming Hudson Valley Restaurant Week! This event goes from March 31 to April 13, and features restaurants from all over the Hudson Valley participating, including Columbia County, Dutchess County, Greene County, Orange County, Putnam County, Rockland County, Sullivan County, Ulster County, and Westchester County. To ensure that this blog post doesn’t go on forever, I will mostly be focusing on restaurants in Westchester County and Putnam County, as those are the closest to me, and I will be going over the interesting foods on their menus in hopes that you will want to go and check them out and support them. 

The first restaurant is 179 Bar & Grill in New Rochelle. The next restaurant is 512 Bistro Bar Restaurant in Briarcliff Manor. The next restaurant is Alba’s Restaurant in Port Chester. The next restaurant is Barnwood Grill in Yorktown Heights. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include burrata tower, truffle fries, rice balls, shrimp dumplings, crispy calamari, pierogis, burgers, chicken parmesan sandwich, tuna tacos, burnt ends brisket sandwich, butternut squash ravioli, lobster ravioli, rigatoni, New York strip loin, shrimp and grits, chicken thighs, madeira chicken, and chicken burrata.

The next restaurant is Benjamin Steakhouse in White Plains. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include crab cakes, fried calamari, baked clams, French onion soup, ground beef soup, lobster bisque, a variety of cuts of steak, rack of lamb, whole Maine lobster, surf and turf, king crab legs, lobster tails, chicken parmesan, loaded baked potato, fries, onion rings, and lobster macaroni and cheese.

The next restaurant is Bistro de Ville in Scarsdale. Some of the interesting foods on their menu include potato latkes, duck confit spring rolls, wood fired brie, French onion soup, cauliflower, short rib cavatelli, cod and potato croquettes, mussels and fries, roasted duck breast, wood roasted vegetables, lamb shank, steak frites, a burger, monkfish au poivre, chocolate mousse, creme brulee, and bread pudding.
