If you are looking for ways to celebrate the Fourth of July this year, you should know about all these events! In this post, I will be discussing all the events that are happening on or around the Fourth of July in Westchester County, Dutchess County, and Fairfield County, as I feel these are the closest to where all of you reading live, and hopefully what I write about will convince you to go to any one of these events.

As many of you have probably guessed, a lot of the events in this post will be fireworks, and I will be sharing all the details about each different firework event that will be happening. Some of these events are more than just fireworks, and I will go more into detail as I write about each event.

The next event on July 4 is also in Poughkeepsie, and it is presumably the same fireworks display, but this time you get to watch it from Walkway Over the Hudson.

The next event on July 4 is in the city of Peekskill, and it is actually a series of events that lasts the whole day. It starts at 10:30 AM with an Independence Day parade, which will end at the Central Fire House with refreshments. Later in the evening, there will be a performance from First Class Band at Riverfront Green Park at 7:00 PM, followed by a fireworks show.

This event has food trucks like Cousin’s Maine Lobster and Wanna Empanada, a kid’s fun zone with face painting, glitter tattoos, and a bouncy castle, live music from 7:30 PM-9:00 PM from KickStart Charlie, and fireworks beginning after dark.

There are also a few events that will be happening after July 4 has passed, and three of them are on July 6. The first one is the Annual Family Fireworks Celebration at Ridgefield High School. It starts at 6:00 PM with several options for food and fun activities for families, with the fireworks beginning at dusk.

The second event on July 6 is in Greenwich and is also two different displays. The first one is at Binney Park and starts at 9:10 PM, and the second one is at Greenwich Point Park, also known as Tod’s Point, and starts at 9:35 PM.
