Summer In The Park
As some of you might remember, last year I wrote about the outdoor summer concert series in Stamford Downtown called Alive At Five. Well, back in November of last year, it was announced that it would never be returning. I was disappointed by this news, but also hopeful that the city of Stamford would come up with an exciting new event. A few weeks ago, Hey Stamford announced that a new event would be coming to Mill River Park called Summer In The Park, which would be happening on three weekends in July. I didn’t know what to expect at this point in time, as I didn’t know if they would want to go big for its first year, or if they would want to take a year off after cancelling Alive At Five before going big again next year. A few days ago, I found my answer, and it was announced that this event is going to be one of the biggest events Stamford has had in a while!
