Chappaqua Farmers Market



It’s been a while since I have written about a nearby event, so I figured now would be the perfect time to do so! Since we are currently in the summer, I felt it was appropriate to write about a farmers market in the area, and since I haven’t written about it yet, today I am going to talk about the Chappaqua Farmers Market. I will be going over all the vendors that participate in it, in hopes that it will encourage all of you reading to check it out. 

The first few vendors that I will talk about fall under the category of Specialty. 

The first vendor is a knife sharpener from Hastings-on-Hudson that is only there on the second Saturday of every month called Ready, Set, Sharp.

The next vendor is The Copper Faucet Soap from White Plains, which sells handcrafted soaps.

The next vendor is The Wreath Forager from Hastings-on-Hudson, which makes and sells wreaths. 

The last Specialty vendor is Wendy Enoch Pottery from Hastings-on-Hudson, which makes and sells ceramics and is only there occasionally. 
The next vendors that I will talk about fall under the category of coffee, spirits, beers, juices, and elixirs. 

The first of these vendors is Annie’s Ginger Elixir from Queens.

The next vendor is a Bloody Mary mix from Ramsey, New Jersey called Bloody Good Mud, which is only there on the fourth Saturday of every month.

The next vendor is Cano Coffee from New York City. 

The next vendor is Fairy Juice Bar from Mount Vernon. 
The next vendor is Klocke Estate, a winery from Claverack, New York that is only there on the first Saturday of every month. 

The next vendor is cocktail business Liquid Fables from Beacon, which is only there on the third and fifth Saturday of every month. 

The next vendor is Manor Sangria from Brewster, which is only there on the first, third, and fifth Saturday of every month. 

The next vendor is Springbrook Hollow Distillery from Queensbury, New York. 

The last vendor in this category is The Spirits Lab from Newburgh, which is only there occasionally. 

The next vendors that I will talk about fall under the category of prepared foods and condiments. 

The first of these vendors is Agape Premium from Westchester County, which sells extra virgin olive oil.

The next vendor is Grumpy Dumpling Co. from Norwalk.

The next vendor is AYA Hummus from Peekskill, which is only there on third Saturdays.

The next vendor is Bonnes Saveurs, another hummus vendor from New York that is only there on second, fourth, and fifth Saturdays.

The next vendor is Channery Hill Farm from Callicoon Center, New York, which is only there on second and fourth Saturdays.

The next vendor is Doc Pickle from Fairfield, New Jersey.

The next vendor is Dough Nation Food Truck from Dobbs Ferry, which serves pizza and  is there on second and fourth Saturdays. 
The next vendor is Emmaline’s Hot Sauce from New York, which is only there occasionally.

The next vendor is Empabakes from North Arlington, New Jersey, which makes and sells empanadas, and is only there on first and third Saturdays.

The next vendor is Fearless Cook Food Truck from New City, which serves a variety of baked goods and is only there on third Saturdays. 

The next vendor is Gira’s Garden Hot Sauce from New City, which is there occasionally. 

The next vendor is Goode & Local by Don Rodrigo from Sussex, New Jersey, which sells a variety of pork products. 

The next vendor is Homespun Chili from Dumont, New Jersey, which is only there on second and fourth Saturdays. 

The next vendor is Hudson River Apiaries in Verplanck, New York, which makes and sells fresh honey and is only there on second and fourth Saturdays.

The next vendor is Kariba Farms from Dover, New Jersey, which sells dried fruits, nuts, and gourmet specialties, and is only there on second and fourth Saturdays. 
The next vendor is Mama Hu’s Sushi Bakes from Yonkers, which is only there on third Saturdays. 

The next vendor is MOMO Dressings from Brooklyn, which makes and sells Japanese salad dressings and sauces, and is only there on first and third Saturdays. 
The next vendor is Plantidote from Norwalk, which sells vegan food and is only there on third Saturdays.

The next vendor is Smok’d Food Truck from Putnam Valley, New York, which sells meat and is only there on first Saturdays. 
The next vendor is The Fearless Cook from Goshen, New York, which is only there on third Saturdays. 
The next vendor is The Lentil Co. from Cedar Grove, New Jersey. 

The next vendor is Soupernatural from Yonkers. 

The next vendor is Villa Emilia Empanadas from Westchester County, which is there on second and fourth Saturdays.

The last vendor under this category is Wild Radish from Nyack.

The next vendors fall under the category of baked goods, pasta, and sweet treats.

The first vendor under this category is Bien Cuit from Brooklyn, which sells bread.

The next vendor is Bitchin’ Babkas from Yonkers, which is only there on third Saturdays. 

The next vendor is Bohemian Baked Goods from Westchester County. 

The next vendor is Butter and Bow from Mount Kisco, which sells baked goods and wellness products and is only there on first Saturdays.

The next vendor is DoughCo from Chappaqua.

The next vendor is Heathcote Bakery from New York, which is only there on fourth Saturdays. 

The next vendor is Knot of this World from Levittown, New York, which makes and sells pretzels. 

The next vendor is La Petite Occasion from Westchester County, which sells caramels and is only there on second Saturdays. 

The next vendor is La Milpa de Rosa from Hastings-on-Hudson, which sells tortillas and chips and is only there on first Saturdays.

The next vendor is La Trafila Pasta from Brooklyn.

The next vendor is Mayfield Farms from New York, which is there on first and third Saturdays.

The next vendor is Noble Pies from Rye, which. Is there on second and fourth Saturdays.

The next vendor is Norwegian Baked, which makes and sells a Norwegian baked good called crispbread and is only there occasionally.

The next vendor is Raw Chocolate Love from Brooklyn, which makes and sells organic and vegan chocolate.

The next vendor is Red Barn Bakery from Irvington, which makes and sells a variety of baked goods.

The next vendor is Shhh-Our-Dough from Brooklyn, which makes and sells sourdough bread and is only there on second and fourth Saturdays.

The next vendor is Sugar Shack Creamery from Newton, New Jersey, which is only there on first and third Saturdays. 

The next vendor is The Hampton Grocer from Calverton, New York, which makes and sells granola.

The last vendor under this category is Wave Hill Breads from Norwalk, which makes and sells breads and other baked goods.

The next vendors fall under the category of poultry, meats, fish, dairy, and eggs. 

The first vendor under this category is Goode & Local by Don Rodrigo from Sussex, New Jersey, which sells pork products.
The next vendor is Letterbox Farm from Hudson, New York. 

The next vendor is Maplebrook Farm from Middletown, New York, which makes and sells cheese.

The next vendor is Pura Vida Fisheries from Hampton Bays. 

The next vendor is R&M Farm from Wantage, New Jersey, which sells a variety of meats.

The next vendor is Second Mouse Cheese from Pleasantville.

The last vendor under this category is White Mustache Yogurt from Wappingers Falls, which is only there on second, fourth, and fifth Saturdays. 
The last few vendors fall under the category of fruits, produce, and flowers.

The next vendor is Fresh Meadow Farm from Middletown, New York. 

The next vendor is Obercreek Farm from Wappingers Falls.

The next vendor is Mead Orchards from Tivoli, New York. 
The next vendor is Stars of the Meadow from Accord, New York.

The last vendor there is Tivoli Mushrooms from Accord, New York.

Overall, there are many cool vendors here. It happens on Saturdays from 8:30 to 1:00 at the Chappaqua train station, so get in your car and go check it out!
